Jan is an abstract artist with a very distinctive style and uses oils on canvas to interpret her subjects, taking the viewer on a visual journey that evokes the allure of nature and the feeling of connection to the landscape.
Colour is the first thing Jan sees and is her preferred method of expression on how she views the world, followed by shape and form.
